The install. A 10mm, 20′ H × 12′ W outdoor LED sign in Las Vegas, installed in 2017 and built to run through Las Vegas summers with internal enclosure temperatures up to 140°F in the hottest months.
Why this matters. A DOOH operator amortising a sign over eight to ten years is buying survivability first. An outdoor LED display engineered to operate reliably with internal enclosure temperatures up to 140°F is a direct answer to that question — heat, not brightness, is what kills cheap outdoor LED.
